The Worldcoin Foundation has introduced an enhancement to its community grants program that will aim to streamline the application process and provide more opportunities for innovation from community builders worldwide.
Instead of its wave-based structure, the Worldcoin Foundation explains in a blog post that it is now transitioning to a “dynamic, continuous” application system.
Worldcoin further noted that this shift enables applicants to submit their proposals at any time, thus eliminating the requirement to wait for specific grant waves.
According to Worldcoin Foundation, key changes are:
- Continuous Applications: No more waiting for specific grant waves. Applicants can now submit proposals at any time throughout the year.
- Reviews: The Worldcoin Foundation will evaluate submissions on an ongoing basis for quicker response times and more dynamic project support.
- Updated RFP List: The Foundation has refined its Request for Proposals (RFP) list to better align with current tech needs and future growth areas. The new list reflects the latest needs in the Worldcoin Tech Tree Stack.
- Additional Categories: The Foundation is introducing new categories that are designed to address specific areas of interest within the Worldcoin community.

The updated RFP list continues to emphasize critical areas for Worldcoin’s development, including:
- World ID Applications: Creative implementations of World ID that showcase its potential for secure, privacy-preserving identity verification across various use cases.
- Digital Identity Solutions: Projects that advance the state of decentralized identity, explore new methods of identity attestation and user-centric approaches to personal data management and control.
- Growth Initiatives: Proposals aimed at expanding Worldcoin’s user base, improving onboarding processes or creating educational resources to increase understanding and adoption of Worldcoin.
- Governance Updates: Ideas that contribute to the decentralization of Worldcoin, enhance community decision-making processes or explore novel governance models leveraging World ID.
- Enhanced Developer Experience: Projects focused on creating robust SDKs, API enhancements, documentation improvements or development frameworks that make it easier for builders to integrate and work with Worldcoin technologies.
Interested applicants are now able to submit proposals at any given time via the intuitive online portal.
