The team behind Arbitrum and Prysm has hired Ira Auerbach as Head of Tandem, the studio and VC arm of Offchain Labs. Auerbach was previously Senior Vice President and Head of Digital Assets at Nasdaq.
Auerbach is expected to support projects building innovative blockchain applications and infrastructure solutions. Portfolio projects will have direct access to Offchain Labs, working with the company’s executive team, developers, and vertical experts.
Prior to Nasdaq, Auerbach held several leadership positions at Gemini, including Global Head of Gemini Prime and Head of Product. Other experience includes roles at Palantir Technologies, BGC Partners, and BNP Paribas.
Offchain Labs reports “significant growth and adoption across its ecosystem,” mainly through Arbitrum and its expansive suite of solutions.
