EstateGuru, an online investment platform serving Europe, is reporting that it surpassed €40 million in investment during the first six months of 2024.
At the same time, investors received a capital return of €47.5 million, earning €6.9 million (10.88%).
Based in Estonia, investors may participate in loans backed by property. The platform is licensed under ECSPR [European Crowdfunding Services Provider Regulation].
The website states that EstateGuru has lent over €819 million since inception with investors earning an average return of 10.33%
“The majority of these earnings were generated from nearly 100 million euros invested in new projects through Estateguru last year, of which approximately 40% has already been repaid. The portfolio is performing excellently,” stated Estateguru CEO Mihkel Stamm. Additionally, the company successfully recovered 5 million euros in previously issued problem loans this year.”
EstateGuru reported that 5350 new investors joined during the six-month period, bringing the total to 161,000.
Stamm noted an increase in activity from large new investors, contributing investments ranging from €50,000 to €200,000 per project.
