Global Payments Fintech Fiserv Partners Selecta Grpup to Streamline Transactions Across Points of Sale

Selecta Group, Europe’s route-based self-service retailer providing coffee and convenience food solutions in the workplace and in public spaces, is teaming up with Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), an international provider of payments and financial services tech.

Through the partnership, the companies will be streamlining digital payments across different points of sale, so they can meet consumer demand and increase operational efficiency as self-service technologies like vending machines and smart fridges are increasingly adopt in post-COVID environment.

Selecta Group’s goal is to have a ONE Selecta technology solution that will aim to support cashless interactions across its business operations and support ongoing development and integration. The firm is leveraging a pan-European payments service from Fiserv that will enable transactions with  international and domestic card schemes and mobile apps at the point of sale.

Additionally, Selecta Group is evaluating a mobile payments app, which will come with access to a Selecta loyalty program. A dedicated merchant portal will allow Selecta to improve terminal management, which includes onboarding and activation, reporting and insights, maintenance, and diagnostics.

The launch of the Fiserv payment platform started this summer across Selecta’s European markets.
