Overfunding: European Fintech Governance.com Quickly Surpasses €250,000 Funding Target Through Crowdcube Campaign

Governance.com, a Luxembourg-based fintech that provides technology-enabled governance solutions, has successfully secured its initial €250,000 through its recently launched equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube. The funding round has so far attracted nearly 225 Crowdcube investors.

Founded in 2015 by twin brothers Bert and Rob Boerman, Governance.com states it provides simple, efficient and technology-enabled governance solutions.

“We help regulated businesses achieve sustainable business success by understanding critical process information, enabling you to identify and deal with exceptions while recording every action in a perfect audit trail. Connect data across organisational silos and make it available in simple views and easy-to-understand dashboards. Create automated workflows and ensure that every step of each process is followed as designed, while increasing efficiency and eliminating repetitive tasks. ”

Governance.com further revealed that its “Ready-To-Go” suite is a collection of modular solutions, designed to cover specific regulatory and business challenges that can be implemented quickly and provide immediate operational relief and risk mitigation. Already serving Tier 1 clients, Governance.com was listed as a Top 50 European FinTech company in 2018 alongside unicorns N26 and Revolut.

Funds from the Crowdcube round will be used to expand the Governance sales team and push its marketing strategy forward. The company is now offering 2.77% in equity at a €11,512,576 pre-money valuation through the funding round, which is set to close mid-January 2021.
