Update: Environmental Tech Safe Solvents Secures More Than £1 Million During the Final Days on Crowdcube

Safe Solvents, a UK-based environmental technology company, is set to close its equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube with more than £1 million from over 200 investors. The round was launched last month, originally seeking a minimum of £800,000.

As previously reported, Safe Solvents was founded in 2015  and describes itself as a company that researches, designs, formulates, and manufactures its own range of parts washing machines and advanced solvent replacement products in the UK. The company noted its products have undergone extensive field testing, and its team has spend two years and developing, as wells testing, the products to endure they are “the best they can be.” 

“Our solutions are designed to offer businesses within the automotive, aerospace, marine, commercial and industrial markets a safer, and more cost effective option than traditional solvent and heated aqueous products. Our range of liquids and machines are available to lease or buy, via flexible monthly payment options and hassle free contracts. All allowing businesses to select the method which works best for them.”

Funds from the Crowdcube initiative will be used to continue the growth and development of the Safe Solvents’ products. After the funding round secured its initial £800,000 target, Safe Solvent announced the launch of its new website.

The funding round is currently set to close next week.
