Crowdcube Teams Up With London’s New Sport Tech Hub

Crowdcube announced on Thursday it has formed a partnership with London’s brand new Sport Tech Hub, a hub that creates a platform for both startups and entrepreneurs within the sports tech space. The equity crowdfunding platform stated it offers Sport Tech Hub member teams the opportunity to continue their growth with financing up to £5m in exchange for equity.

Alex Zurita, London Sport specialist in technology for participation, stated:

“Giving the entrepreneurs within the SportTech sector greater insights into funding options compliments our commitment to support their growth journey beyond early stage, as they look to expand their options around scaling and creating even more impact beyond the mandate of the Sport Tech Hub program.”

Crowdcube noted that through this partnership its equity coaches will plug into the Sport Tech Hub’s 24-week learning program, with Venture Labs, to host workshops and Founder Talks.

This new partnership is in line with our vision of helping the teams behind early-stage businesses across a range of sectors to get access to value-add resources in order to execute smart venture strategies. Sport Tech Hub network will benefit from hands-on learning sessions that shine light on ways to strategically tap into the largest equity investor base in Europe, alongside powerful VC networks and angel investors.”

Other partnership perks include:

  • Discount on Crowdcube fees when Sport Tech Hub companies successfully fund on the Crowdcube platform
  • Bespoke mentoring, Venture Labs and content for Sport Tech Hub companies
