BUILDING CROWDFUNDING MARKET IN SE EUROPE

Zagreb Crowdfunding Convention is a yearly event organized by the Crowdfunding Academy, a non-formal initiative aiming to create a crowdfunding market in Croatia and the region. The initiative is one of the leading forces for crowdfunding in Croatia and has, through various crowdfunding campaigns, raised more than $140,000.00.

Through lectures, panels and workshops, Zagreb Crowdfunding Convention will create a dialogue about the most crowdfunded causes: social & entrepreneurial. The event will gather crowdfunding enthusiasts, social innovators, start-ups and VC’s, with an aim to strengthen existing capacities for building crowdfunding market and make space for social impact through crowdfunding in SE Europe.

Program of the Zagreb Crowdfunding Convention 2016 consists of lectures and workshops, which aim to define the path for further crowdfunding development in the region. Recommendations will be given from Tim Wright from UK’s Twintangibles, Ronald Kleverlaan from CrowdfundingHub, Karsten Wenzlaff from ikosom and many more. Covering the topics most relevant for social and entrepreneurial area, Convention will include theoretical and practical aspect.
