THE STARTUP ICELAND HACKATHON AT HÁSKÓLINN REYKJAVÍK
MAY 31ST & JUNE 1ST
Hackathon participants will create and present hacks around the central idea that the world is undergoing drastic cultural, climate and economic shifts that impact global business.
Our strengths lie not within avoiding catastrophe but in planning and mitigating problems before they arise. We can accomplish this by understanding the needs of the business community, anticipating the hurdles and creating proactive solutions.
This event is FREE and open to students, hobbyists, professionals, anybody who likes to hack on cool code and be creative. Coffee and Pizza are going to be available throughout the event and drinks will be provided courtesy of Ölgerðin. There’s a self service eating policy
The winner will be awarded $1,000.00 USD for the best hack and recognized in front of the Startup Iceland audience.

The first day of Startup Iceland will feature compelling presentations and discussions from key influencers within Iceland and from Startup Communities around the world to take place at the award-winning Harpa Conference and Events center.

Most of the guests and speakers will hold office hours in Reykjavik University and this provides a platform for Entrepreneurs and Startup Founders and Participants in the Conference to get one-on-one time with the Speakers in the conference.
