An Insider’s Guide to Running a Successful Kickstarter Campaign

Doors: 5PM
Presentation: 6PM

Join us for a special presentation from Kickstarter’s Art Program Director Stephanie Pereira for a primer on how to bring a Kickstarter project to life. We’ll be joined by a panel of successful Kickstarter project creators, who’ll share insights, tips and best practices from their own campaign experiences.

About the panel:
Musician Rob Rowe of Cause and Effect will talk about how he successfully raised $8,544 from 145 backers to fund the release of his first ever side project album, WHITEWAITS.

Producer and Actor Alycia Delomre and team will talk about how they funded their first season of Rocketmen the Webseries, raising $33,039 from 440 Backers.

Mr. Muffins aka Noah Wilson of the music, art and storytelling team Mr. and Mrs. Muffins have run two successful projects on Kickstarter – first to fund a vinyl pressing of their debut album and next a more ambitious vinyl record and art book.

Moderator: Stephanie Pereira has spent nearly a decade working in nonprofit arts management, and before joining Kickstarter, led public programs at Eyebeam Art and Technology Center in NYC. She holds an MA in Arts Administration from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a BFA in Visual Art from Rutgers University.
