Financial Markets Regulation – San Francisco

This seminar will discuss research regarding how financial regulations shape the financial system, and the potential impacts of financial regulations on consumers, investors, and businesses. Additionally, we are welcoming academic research papers that seek to understand the effects and implications of financial regulations on the financial market system and the economy. We are particularly interested in research that focus on the effects that financial regulation has on the ability of small businesses to meet their funding needs and the effects of consumer finance regulations on individuals’ access to the financial system. If you’re interested in submitting an abstract, please do so by December 1, 2015. Authors of accepted papers may be invited to discuss their work at the seminar.
