Crypto Exchange OKX Now ISO/IEC 27001 Certified, Setting Standard for Security Management

OKX announce that they’ve achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the world’s standard for information security management systems.

This milestone / achievement reinforces their position as a global enabler of digital asset security, confirming that their robust security framework “not only meets but exceeds the international standards for protecting customer information.”

ISO/IEC 27001 is the internationally recognised standard for information security management, requiring organisations to “implement robust controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard data and assets.”

Achieving this certification demonstrates that:

  • Your information and assets are protected in accordance with globally recognized best practices
  • Security controls and governance have been independently assessed and verified by BSI Group, a trusted and accredited certification body
  • Risk management and security practices are aligned with international standards and industry benchmarks
  • Effective systems are in place to proactively identify, assess and respond to evolving security threats

The path to certification involved months of “careful preparation and implementation of required security measures across our global operations.”

After thoroughly implementing these “comprehensive security controls, we engaged BSI Group, an internationally recognized, independent certification body, to conduct a comprehensive audit of their Information Security Management System.”

This assessment confirmed our alignment “with the rigorous requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard.”

The 2022 version represents the latest evolution of this framework, introducing enhanced requirements that “address today’s complex cyber threat landscape and emerging security challenges.”

This ISO certification is just one element of our multi-layered security approach that includes:

  • Advanced encryption technologies and strict access controls to safeguard customer assets
