Muse, a data-driven financial management mobile app, is now seeking 500,000 through its newly launched equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube. The startup is currently offering 6.67% in equity at a £7 million pre-money valuation.
Muse stated that it enables businesses to “thrive” by bringing financial data to life so that owners have a clear picture of their current financial landscape and by providing the insights and tools to empower informed business decisions.
“Muse connects to the leading accounting software systems to generate real-time visualisations of that data. As a result, owners can more easily understand their financial situation and are empowered to make informed decisions. What’s more, the intelligence in the system enables real-time analysis of invoices issued to uncover potential short-term cash flow gaps, and then highlights those invoices which could be used as an asset to bridge those gaps, without the need for expensive loans or personal guarantees.”
The Muse cash flow forecasting tool is now live (available by exclusive invitation); banking and credit card integrations are complete and in beta. The company further explained:
“Capital is required so that we can expand our core offering. With your help, we will develop sales channels and provide an e-money account card in three currencies, making Muse a one-stop shop for all small business needs.”
Since its launch, the funding round has successfully secured more than £230,000 from over 60 investors. It is set to close at the beginning of February.
