At the recent Mortgage Business Expo I was struck by the number of advisers who said they experience difficultly placing the majority of commercial finance deals they come across.

Perhaps this is not surprising, as we’ve all seen the headlines about the difficulties faced by SMEs and owner-managed businesses when getting the financial support they need to grow.
