Money Management App iSpent19 to Offer UK Consumers a Better Way to Manage Funds

iSpent19 is pleased to confirm the rollout of its money management app that’s meant to offer UK users with a new way of monitoring and managing their funds via transaction personalization and sharing.

iSpent19’s management noted that they realize that financial management can be a personal matter, which requires the “me” approach when it comes to banking transactions. However, the company also mentioned that these services should provide consumers the chance to interact with friends and family members (offered via its transaction sharing feature).

Examples may include couples managing their joint accounts, going on holidays or trips together with friends or university colleagues that may share house bills. This transaction sharing feature is reportedly the first that has been made available via the app’s Members’ Lounge.

Inspired by personal experience of frauds, Guang Deng, the Founder and CEO, decided to help others avoid these unpleasant experiences by using Open Banking tech to support his mobile banking app.

Users may now benefit in many different ways from a Fintech app that provides greater visibility and control over their finances.

The team at iSpent19 notes that transaction personalization appears to be the right approach to achieve these goals or objectives. They’ve spent the past 18 months creating the App that aims to change the way funds get tracked, managed and shared.

Deng remarked:

“Faced with the Digital Deluge problem, many of us feel like we’re constantly playing catch up on matters such as financial obligations in the midst of daily information overload. Perhaps you feel sometimes that you are slowly losing control? That’s because when money gives you problems, it quickly trickles into the rest of your life. It is no coincidence that we humans are not wired to leave tasks uncompleted.”

Deng added:

“Having an ability to get things done there and then is therefore important to our mental wellbeing. To that end, we offer our users this practical App that helps them take quick and decisive action on bank transactions that matter to them and avoid procrastination and later problems.”

On its launch, iSpent19 provides clients the following features:

  • a single place to view multiple bank and credit card accounts and a consolidated view of all transactions in chronological order;
  • powerful search and filter functionalities to quickly find the transactions users care most;
  • ability to personalize the money management journey through tagging, adding attachments, annotating or setting reminders to any transaction;
  • ‘Shopping Journey’ tags – a dedicated transaction Monitoring space, and the Link feature, which are designed to help users stay on top of shopping deliveries, exchanges or refunds and visualise relations between transactions.

iSpent19 may be downloaded free-of-cost in the United Kingdom via the App Store and Google Play Store. After it’s downloaded, clients may take advantage of bank level security to ensure the protection of their personal data.
