Ignition, an Australia-based digital financial advising platform, announced this week it has launched its services in the UK. Founded in 2014, Ignition describes itself as a global advisor technology specialist for financial institutions seeking to help more customers have access to financial advise in a “fast and scalable way.”
“We combine the power of digital intelligence with a human touch to enable smarter, more flexible and more secure advice delivery for everyone.We powered the first robo-investment solution in Australia and have since partnered with banks and wealth managers worldwide to deliver a customer-centric model that brings a customer and adviser together into a single advice workflow.”
Ignition also reported that it delivers fully-compliant, digital advice journeys across investments and wealth, pensions, and insurance. The company also claimed that its clients include both global players in the financial sector as well as domestic and mid-market enterprises. Terry Donohoe, CEO of Europe at Ignition, shared more details about the expansion by stating:
“We’re bringing the Ignition technology platform to the UK in order to support financial institutions in helping their customers to make better financial decisions through secure, compliant digital advice solutions.”
The UK launch comes just months after Ignition raised AUD$26 million through its Series B funding round, which was led by Morgan Stanley. As part of the launch, Ignition is opening offices in both London and Edinburgh. The company also has offices in Sydney (global headquarters) and Dublin (European head office). Donohoe added:
