Fintech and Insurtech Startups Accelerator F10 Switzerland to Support Sustainable Finance Initiatives

F10 Switzerland has reportedly graduated its second acceleration batch during an online startup event with several well-known attendees from the investor and corporate sector. F10 Switzerland is now accepting applications for its third accelerator – which aims to support sustainable finance and various services for small businesses.

On May 5, 2021, F10 Switzerland’s 2nd Acceleration Batch graduated during the online Startup Showcase with 275 prominent attendees from the investor and corporate sectors. The Showcase event featured startup pitches and it also included an investor panel on early growth stage firms. It also provided an event platform for making beneficial networking connections.

Gerrit Sindermann, Country Success Lead F10 Switzerland, stated:

“The Acceleration Program focuses on supporting open innovation efforts of our corporate partners and on helping post-seed, post-revenue startups bring fundraising and customer development to the next level. The program closing event we always open to the wider ecosystem and invite investors and corporates internationally.”

The F10 Acceleration Program aims to connect startups with corporate partners SIX, SDX, Julius Baer, Baloise, Generali HITS, PostFinance, Raiffeisen, Zürcher Kantonalbank, TX Group and PricewaterhouseCooppers (PwC). The program also connects participants with around 100 experienced mentors and subject matter specialists from organizations such as SIX, Tomahawk VC, BV Ventures, Capco, and Falcon PB.

For the initiative’s upcoming Acceleration Program (scheduled from September to November 2021), the organizers are looking for high-potential growth-stage firms that are working on Sustainable Finance and SME Services. The event should help these startups with accelerating collaborations with strategic corporate partners.

Gerrit Sindermann added:

“We see enormous potential for innovation within Sustainable Finance and SME Services and are excited to meet disruptive startups in that space.”

Since 2016, over 130 Fintech and Insurtech firms have taken part in the F10 programs internationally. During the next 3-month acceleration program, F10 will be working closely with the chosen startups in order to achieve productive collaboration through 360 degree evaluations, a collaboration playbook, and 1:1 collaboration coaching.
