FinTech Australia Partners With Tier One People To Launch Talent Marketplace for Australian Fintechs

FinTech Australia announced on Tuesday it has teamed up with Tier One People to launch a new talent marketplace specifically for Australian fintechs. According to the organization, this new marketplace will run through LinkedIn Groups and aims to connect candidates with prospective employers and help any talent displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic find new opportunities.

While sharing more details, FinTech Australia GM Rebecca Schot-Guppy, stated the FinTech Talent Marketplace is a way that the organization can help those whose jobs are impacted and keep them in the ecosystem.

“This is a closed marketplace, however, we welcome others with experience in the financial services to register their interest. While we are setting this up now, we believe that this initiative will play a key role in the recovery phase of this crisis through growing and hiring staff.”

Dexter Cousins, Managing Director of Tier One People added:

“This marketplace is helping connect experienced fintech industry talent with the companies that can utilize their skills most. It’s completely free for talent and Fintech Companies to join the group.”

Revolut, Xinja, Up, Wisr, 86 400, Assembly Payments, ReInventure Group, Airtree Ventures, and Spriggy have already joined the marketplace.
