Austria Fintech Paysafecash Launches Services in Latvia

PaySafeCard, an Austria-based fintech that is part of the Paysafe Group, announced on Wednesday it has launched its services in Latvia. This launch comes just a couple of months after Paysafecash made its debut in Cyprus.

As previously reported, PaySafeCard claims it has become a global market leader in online prepaid payment methods and part of the portfolio of payment of PaySafeCard, My PaySafeCard, PaySafeCard Mastercard, and PaySafeCash.

“Available in over 650,000 outlets in nearly 50 countries worldwide, PaySafeCard enables easy and secure online purchases by cash, as payments are made either by using a 16-digit PaySafeCard PIN online or by scanning a Paysafecash Barcode at a Point of Sale. Customers do not need to share sensitive financial data such as bank account or credit card details.”

Paysafe reported that it is now available in 26 countries around the world. Udo Müller, CEO of paysafecard, the team behind Paysafecash, reported that the company’s service allows consumers who prefer paying by cash to participate in the e-commerce world.

“With this launch, we are meeting the needs of consumers who want to buy things online without disclosing their personal financial details, such as credit card or bank account information.”

Paysafecash’s payment points charge a service fee of $2.50.
