LendIt Fintech USA, one of the most anticipated digital finance-focused events in the country, has postponed its annual event indefinitely. LendIt was originally scheduled to take place in New York City on May 13 -14.
In an email authored by Peter Renton, Chairman and co-founder of the company, he said it should come as no surprise the event has been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
“Throughout this crisis one thing has not changed: the commitment of the LendIt team to bring you the best event in all of Fintech. Bo and I couldn’t be more proud of how our team has responded to these most difficult of circumstances. We are banding together, committed to our mission to serve the greater financial services community.”
Renton said a new date has yet to be selected but he assured followers that LendIt Fintech USA 2020 is “definitely still on.”
