Binance’s Digital Asset Exchange for US Traders, Binance.US, Launches Beta Testing of its iOS App for All Platform Users

Binance’s digital asset exchange for US-based traders, Binance.US, has launched beta testing of its iOS application for all platform users.

The leading cryptocurrency exchange noted that it had started its beta testing via a December 30 tweet. Binance’s management confirmed the successful private beta test and encouraged all of its users to take part in the iOS beta testing process. The private beta testing reportedly began on December 18, allowing Binance.US to identify potential flaws or system glitches and having them fixed before making the app available to a larger group of traders.

After its iOS beta testing, Binance.US’s management made the app available for beta testing to Android users, and requested crypto traders to help find potential issues in the software and fix them before the app becomes available to a larger group of users.

Binance recently revealed that it will be halting Ether (ETH) deposits and withdrawals in order to support the upcoming Muir Glacier upgrade to the Ethereum network. Binance has suspended Ether trading right before the Ethereum blockchain network reaches a block height of 9,200,000 (when the upgrade is expected to go live).

Binance announced on December 27 that it will be allowing traders to purchase cryptocurrencies with their Visa credit and debit cards. The trading platform’s users can directly purchase four major digital currencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether, XRP and Binance Coin (BNB), the exchange’s native crypto token. The card purchases can be made after users link their Binance trading accounts to Visa cards that have been issued within the European Economic Area.
