SharesPost, a private company liquidity solutions and private capital markets research provider, announced on Monday it has appointed former New York Stock Exchange Executive, Bonnie Hyun has its new Managing Director and Head of Platform Solutions and Strategy.
According to SharesPost, Hyun has held leadership roles in the financial services and technology industry, as well as experience in public accounting, operations and investment banking, for 20 years. Earlier in her career, Hyun worked for Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, PwC, and Silver Spring Networks. She holds an MBA from the UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. She also has a Master’s in Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
In her new position, Hyun will be responsible for SharesPost’s issuer relationships, including the launch of SharesPost’s next generation liquidity programs and relationships with venture capital firms, strategic partners and the Silicon Valley legal community. Speaking about Hyun’s appointment, SharesPost Founder and CEO, Greg Brogger, stated:
