U.S. Fintech Brex launches New Corporate Card For E-Commerce

U.S. fintech Brex announced on Thursday the launch of its new corporate card specifically for e-commerce. As previously reported, Brex is on a mission to rebuild B2B financial products, starting with a corporate credit card for technology companies.

“We help startups of all sizes (from recently incorporated to later-stage companies) to instantly get a credit card that has 20x higher limits, completely automates expense management, kills receipt tracking and magically integrates with their accounting systems.”

According to Brex, the corporate card enables online brands and retailers to bypass the problems of legacy banking systems and claims to deliver a product that is “fast, has far greater functionality and is much simpler to manage” than any other credit card in the marketplace. While sharing more details about the card, Henrique Dubugras, Co-Founder and CEO of Brex, stated:

“Legacy card companies view businesses as a monolith and create products that are expected to serve all of them. Brex sees the world differently. Startups are not like other businesses, and neither are ecommerce companies. Now the latter, too, can benefit from Brex.”

Brex went on to add that e-commerce customers will also benefit from unique rewards including exclusive partnerships focused on e-commerce tools and solutions that are directly relevant and benefit their businesses.
