Sagewise, a blockchain Legaltech firm targeting smart contracts and dispute resolution, has announced “Blockusign.” This blockchain powered tech enables digital signatures on documents directly within the popular Gmail client.
According to Sagewise, their product combines electronic signature technology, with the benefits of the distributed ledger. Blokusign offers a frictionless experience of signing documents while providing better authentication and record keeping via blockchain technology. Blokusign is the first-ever tool of its kind to integrate directly into Gmail as an add-on application.
Amy Wan, co-founder and CEO of Sagewise, says that Gmail integration was paramount for the launch of Blokusign.

Existing electronic signature systems depend on centralized options to maintain, manage and authenticate legal documents. Blokusign decentralizes all of these tasks, allowing users to authenticate and prove the providence of a signed document immediately directly in the email client window.
