Online Lender Prospa Receives Recognition as Top Fintech

Prospa, a leading online lender for Australian SMEs, has received a nice recognition being named National Fintech Lender of the Year in the 2018 MFAA Excellence Awards.

The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia  or “MFAA” is the national body representing finance brokers, mortgage managers, lenders, aggregator/broking groups and other industry participants, in the mortgage and finance industry in Australia.

The MFA also recognised Prospa’s Roberto Sanz as the National Winner of Business Development Manager in the Lender and Support Service Provider category for 2018.

At a State level, the MFAA also recognised three of Prospa’s business development managers, with Simon Winters and Roberto Sanz winning Queensland and VIC/TAS state Business Development Manager of the year awards respectively – against BDMs from all categories of lender. Prospa’s Franco Bombardieri was a finalist in the VIC/TAS category.

Matt Bauld, General Manager Sales and Business Development at Prospa said this was a testiment to their network of relationships they have built with their broker partners and finding the best solutions for their customers.

Prospa has originated over $500 million in loans to date to 12,000 small business owners. The online lender claims a 97% satisfaction rate.
