Legion M Returns to Wefunder with New Crowdfunding Campaign

LegionM has filed a new Form C with the Securities and Exchange Commission indicating its intent to launch a new crowdfunding campaign to raise additional funding.  LegionM was the second project to leverage Reg CF to hit the $1 million funding cap (since raised to $1.07M)

LegionM is a fan funded entertainment company that is targeting the film industry. The company has had some early success including their first feature film, Colossal, staring Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis. The film earned some positive reviews including an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. This month, the film Bad Samaritan opened. The project saw Legion M partner with director / producer Dean Devlin (Stargate,  Independence Day, “Leverage”, “The Librarians”), David Tennant (“Doctor Who,” “Jessica Jones”, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and more on the new thriller film.

Legion M has raised  to date. The company has utilized both Reg CF and Reg A+ to raise capital online. In total, Legion M has now raised over $3.6 million, according to their campaign page. The crowdfunding rounds have been listed on Wefunder.

According to the Offering Memorandum, Legion M is raising the money to finance ongoing operations. The first Reg CF campaign issued shares at $7/share. This newest funding round gives a pre-money valuation of Legion M of $19.59 million and a per share price of $8.32/share.

The companies long term goal is to have over 1 million shareholders. Of course these individuals will be inclined to see the movies produced by the company – which can help with the long term success of the firm.
