Just days after launching its equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, British fashion brand, Archie Foal, has successfully secured its initial £250,000 from nearly 100 investors. Established in 2010, Archie Foal describes itself as a contemporary take on a British heritage fashion brand. It aims to combat “fast fashion” by creating sustainable, responsible, quality garments with accessible price tags, becoming the go-to British luxury casual brand. The brand has notably been stocked in Harrods, Selfridges and has recently appointed an undisclosed Japanese distributor.

All garments work seamlessly and stylishly between city and country, and are designed to be durable and last for years. The last 7 years have allowed Archie Foal time to serve its ‘apprenticeship’, develop its design, explore its market, supply and management needs. We believe Archie Foal is on the cusp of becoming an iconic British brand built on solid foundations.”
Funds from the campaign will be used to continue Archie Foal’s expansion. Speaking about the campaign’s success so far, the brand’s team stated:

We have been astounded by the level of support and enthusiasm, and are very proud to announce that we have reached our target of £250,000 in just 48 hours of being live on the Crowdcube platform. As we have had such an incredible response, we have decided to keep the investment opportunity open to allow those who might have missed out a chance to pledge and become part of the Archie Foal story. Please be aware that there is cap on this raise of £350,000.”
The campaign is currently set to close at the beginning of April or until the £350,000 is achieved.
