London Fintech Curve Introduces Xero Accounting Software Services to Cardholders

Less than a month after announcing its partnership with Xero, London fintech startup Curve introduced its cardholders to the online accounting software services through its iOS and Android apps.

As previously reportedthe companies are looking to remove much of the friction involved in account filing expenses. Curve Founder and CEO, Shachar Bialick, revealed the Xero integration will make filing expenses frictionless. This new partnership was notably part of the recently launched Curve Connect feature, which helps Curve connect to a list of third-party apps and services to manage users’ money easier. While sharing details about the Xero services, the Curve team stated:

“If you’re a Curve cardholder, every time you make a business purchase with any of your cards, we’ll automatically update the corresponding Bank Account in Xero instantly. Take back the time and freedom to focus on the things that matter to your business. Every purchase is synced with its corresponding line item in your Xero Bank Feed, with complete purchase details – the retailer, the date, the type of purchase, and more. Plus, if you forget to scan a receipt on the day, no problem – snap a picture when you have time, and we’ll automatically upload it to Xero.”

Here’s how it works:

  1. Users just need to launch the Connect in Curve app and tap Connect to Xero. Follow the on-screen instructions and log-in to Xero organization in seconds.
  2. Once users are logged in to Xero, map each of their cards in Curve to their corresponding Accounts in Xero
  3. Users can then map their categories in Curve
