Earlier this month, PledgeMusic announced it has appointed Kevin Kiernan as Head of Artist Solution and Nate Baker as Artist and Label Relations Manager. According to the crowdfunding platform for music, both Kieran and Baker are seasoned music industry professionals that will be instrumental in enhancing its direct-to-fan marketplace experience and further expanding the extensive roster of artists that use its site.
Speaking about the appointment, PledgeMusic CEO Dominic Pandiscia stated:
“PledgeMusic sits at the cross-section of understanding the needs of the artist, the business sense a label and manager have, and the passion the fan has for their favorite artist. Kevin and Nate embody this ethos and are great additions to the team as we continue to grow.”
Kiernan previously held positions at Sony Music and D2C. He has helped with e-commerce campaigns for TV, film, and multi-channel networks. As Head of Artist Solution, Kiernan will lead fulfillment, manufacturing, and product mix strategy. Baker has helped positions at Rhapsody and Lala. He has notably managed relationship with labels, artist management, and marketing partners in the U.S. and Mexico. Prior to joining PledgeMusic, Baker was Senior Marketing Manager at Deezer and Partner at AudioDrops.
