Harlem Globetrotters Team Up With CrowdRise For New American Red Cross Initiative

On Tuesday, famous traveling basketball organization the Harlem Globetrotters announced it has teamed up with crowdfunding platform CrowdRise for a new American Red Cross initiative. According to the team, this new initiative will offer fans a chance to win a trip for four to Hawaii by simply donating $10. The winner will also get a chance to hang out with the Globetrotters and get VIP seating for an upcoming game. Globetrotter teammate, Nathaniel ‘Big Easy’ Lofton, stated:

“It’s great to be able to give a fan an opportunity to join us in Hawaii all while donating to a great cause. What could be better than bringing your family or friends to paradise, spending time with the Globetrotters and knowing you helped people impacted by disaster with your donation?”

The team also noted that the Hawaii prize pack includes roundtrip airfare to Honolulu, a four-night hotel stay, bench seats to see the Harlem Globetrotters at the Blaisdell Center in October and four custom Globetrotter jerseys. Every entry will notably support the American Red Cross and help people impacted by disasters across the U.S.
