Digital Marketer Ameria Returns to Companisto, Exceeds 500K€ on Second Crowdfund Raise

Ameria, a German technology company which develops digital marketing and sales solutions for companies including HARIBO, MediaSaturn and Porsche has synced with Companisto to raise 700€K. Valued at 22,500,000€, Ameria has raised over 518,190€ for 3.02% shared offered from more than 387 investors. The largest investment to date is 10K€. The company’s flagship product, “Virtual Promoter”, an interactive solution for shop windows and brick-and-mortar stores, aims to revolutionize the shopping experience across the globe.

The capital of 1.1 million EUR from Ameria’s first round of crowdfunding was used for marketing, product development and patents/certifications. In the product development process, Ameria concentrated on digitization  expansion if its in-store experience in order to acquire new industry customers for which shop windows play a lesses role.

Since the last crowdinvesting campaign, Ameria’s B2B business has acquiring major clients within six industries, Automotive, Financial, Consumer Electronics, FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) / Toys, Health Sector and Tourism, and has expanded from the digitization of shop windows to the sales floor, within branches and showrooms.

2016 was characterized by a series of tests and pilots, including the windows of Deutsche Bank branches, the Porsche Center in Dubai and in various branches of the consumer electronics chain, Saturn. Based on this, the first large-scale rollouts of Virtual Promoter and the associated technologies are in planning for 2017. Due to strong early sales of its Virtual Promoter INCA, the commissioning of tests with further clients and the first commissions in preparation for larger rollouts, Ameria has been able to increase Virtual Promoter sales by 124% from Q1/2016 to Q1/2017.

Current funding will be used for product development team expansion and for the implementation of pending large orders. Ameria noted that the new round of financing will also help avoid larger external investors which means it “can keep the slim decision-making structure that is necessary for high-speed innovation.” 59 days remain on Ameria’s Companisto campaign.
