HelloMD has received a significant boost from SeedInvest’s “Selections Fund”. HelloMD announced that is has received $200,000 from the Fund in addition to the already $900,000 committed to the crowdfunding offer on SeedInvest. HelloMD is a digital healthcare platform in the fast growing market of medical cannabis patients. The company describes itself as the “Amazon of Cannabis.” HelloMD is doing a side-by-side Reg CF / Reg D (506c) Series A crowdfunding offer. Under Reg CF an issuer may raise up to $1.07 million. Under Reg D, an issuer may raise an unlimited amount of money but only from accredited investors.
“We like what HelloMD has accomplished thus far and feel it’s well positioned to capitalize as an early leader in a rapidly growing market,” explained Ryan Feit, SeedInvest CEO and co-founder. “Our Selections Fund invests alongside individual angel investors in some of the most promising companies on our platform.”
Since launching service in California two years ago, HelloMD is said to have developed a rapid following among medical marijuana patients seeking to remedy medical issues. The site connects patients, doctors, retailers and brands in an online community where advice on product selection, health & wellness and anything related to medical cannabis may be discovered. Over 400 business partners (retailers and cannabis brands) have partnered with the site to make information available to customers seeking information on their use of cannabis.

HelloMD plans to use the proceeds of the equity round to expand it service offerings across all 30 cannabis legal states, as well as internationally.
