Digital Marketer Ameria Nears 1.4M€ on Companisto Crowdfunding Campaign

Ameria, a German tech company which develops digital marketing and sales solutions for companies including HARIBO, MediaSaturn and Porsche has easily surpassed its original 700€K crowdfunding goal Companisto. Valued at 22,500,000€, Ameria has raked in over 1,380,904€ for 3.02% share offered. More than 851 investors have contributed to the campaign. The company’s flagship product, “Virtual Promoter”, an interactive solution for shop windows and brick-and-mortar stores, aims to revolutionize the shopping experience globally.

The digital marketer will us campaign funding to expand the product development team and to better implement pending large orders. Ameria noted that the new round of financing will also help avoid larger external investors so it “can keep the slim decision-making structure that is necessary for high-speed innovation.”

To recap, the 1.1 million EUR from Ameria’s first round of crowdfunding was used for marketing, product development and patents/certifications. In the product development process, Ameria concentrated on digitization expansion of the in-store experience to acquire new industry customers for which shop windows play a lesser role.

Since the last crowdinvesting campaign, Ameria’s B2B business has acquired major clients, concentrating on the following six industries: Automotive, Financial, Consumer Electronics, FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) / Toys, Health Sector and Tourism.  Ameria has also expanded from shop window digitization to the sales floor digitization schemes within branches and showrooms.

2016 was characterized by a series of tests and pilots, including the windows of Deutsche Bank branches, the Porsche Center in Dubai and in various branches of the consumer electronics chain, Saturn. Based on this, the first large-scale rollouts of Virtual Promoter and the associated technologies are in planning for 2017. Due to strong early sales of its Virtual Promoter INCA, the commissioning of tests with further clients and the first commissions in preparation for larger rollouts, Ameria has increased its Virtual Promoter sales by 124% from Q1/2016 to Q1/2017.

51 days remain on Ameria’s Companisto campaign.
