Golf Technology Program VPAR Completes Seedrs Round With More Than £1.2 Million in Funding

VPAR, a UK-based golf technology platform, has completed its equity crowdfunding round on Seedrs and has secured over £1.2 million from investors. The campaign was launched in January, and the platform was seeking £1 million.

VPAR was founded in 2007 and is seeking to change the golf experience for amateur golf players through its technology platform. The company claimed its first product was a live-scoring service that gave amateur golfers the ability to check their standings on a live leaderboard on the course, in clubhouses, and online. The platform also stated it hosted over 750 events each year ranging from Corporate Golf Days, Golf Outings, Charity Golf Days, Club Championships, Amateur, and Pro Am Tournaments.

Spectators can even browse the scores live online, as well as viewing information and statistics before, during and after the event. Engaging an online audience creates further exposure, extending the reach of the event and adding value to sponsors. We’re proud to be the pioneer and global leader of Live Golf Scoring. Golf clubs and event managers across the globe trust our technology to score thousands of tournaments and outings each year.”

Funds from the Seedrs campaign will be used to continue VPAR’s platform growth and expansion.
