CommonBond Launches New Scholarship Program to Fund Education

CommonBond, an online lender that provides student loan refinancing as well as personal loans, has launched a new scholarship program.

CommonBond has now lent almost a billion dollars to fund education and they see an opportunity to help make student loans more affordable by launching a scholarship to fund $10,000 of any eligible students education.

Phil DeGisi, CommonBond’s CMO commented on the new scholarship program; 

“At CommonBond, we’re committed to increasing the affordability, accessibility and transparency of higher education financing. Our new scholarship is just one of the ways that we are helping to make education more affordable for undergraduate and graduate students. This spring, we’re excited to provide this $10,000 scholarship to one lucky winner to help pay for school.”

The details are as follows:

  • CommonBond’s scholarship contest enables any US citizen or permanent resident attending a Title IV school for the 2017-2018 school year to win $10,000 to for their education. 
  • For eligible students, the only criteria for entry is a valid email address. 
  • The scholarship is available now through April 15th, 2017.
