FarmFundr Launches Crowdfunding Platform for Farmland & Announces Three California Investment Opportunities

FarmFundr, a crowdfunding investment opportunity for farmland, announced on Friday it has opened its first rounding of funding opportunities for accredited investors. The new funding portal stated its primary focus is to maximize an investor’s returns while lowering risk. It was revealed:

“FarmFundr currently farms and manages millions in assets. Our farmland managers grow a variety of crops from tomatoes, garlic, onions, wheat, corn, alfalfa, walnuts, grapes, and almonds just to name a few. Our goal is to maximize the investor returns while lowering risk. Our specialty is in farm management, land acquisitions and a variety of farm and land financing and strategies.”

Speaking about the new crowdfunding portal, Brandon Silveira, founder and CEO of FarmFundr, stated:

“We want to connect people with agriculture. The acreage of farmland available is declining, while the population is steadily increasing. When you invest in farmland and farming operations, you are investing in feeding our future.”

FarmFundr reports that during the inaugural crowdfunding round, three properties are available in California with required minimum investments starting at $10,000. The first offerings on FarmFundr are the following:

  • Almond Orchard (California): Seeking a minimum of $30,000 with a projected annual return of 13%
  • Row Crop Farm (California): Seeks a minimum of $10,000 with a projected annual return of 6%-10%.
  • Pistachio Development (California): Seeks a minimum of $10,000 with a projected annual return of 8%-15%.

The platform added it manages all aspects of the farmland’s operations, from planting to harvesting to selling.
