Fantasy football social gaming website and app, Premier Punt, has successfully secured its £200,000 funding target through equity crowdfunding platform, Seedrs.
The company, which was founded in 2013, describes itself as a Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) operator based in Edinburgh, UK that provides fantasy football enthusiasts with a platform to come together and play daily fantasy football games against one another for real cash. Picking a team is simple:
“Just like any other fantasy football game you choose your team from the pool of players. For the weekly and daily games you choose 11 players from all the teams that are playing that week or day. Each player is awarded points based on their performance. There are a few rules; the team value must not exceed £100 Million, no more than 3 players from any one club and most importantly no shoes on the couch! For the single games you choose 5 players from any of the fixtures. Each player is awarded points based on their performance. There are no player valuations so let your hair down and try to pick the 5 best players!”
Premier Punt released its app in August 2016, which offers what the company calls a brand new way to playing fantasy football and engaging fans

Funds from Premier Punt’s Seedrs campaign will be used to expand and grow its platform and app.
