The Vino Beano, an alternative wine merchant that specializes in bringing fine, artisan-made wine to the UK market, is set to launch an equity crowdfunding campaign on Invesdor. The London-based company stated its key goal is to be the “go to” merchant for wine enthusiasts throughout the UK, and bring affordable, high-quality wines to the market. It was revealed:
“Our mission is to make knowledge about the wine industry easily accessible to our customers and increase awareness of independent artisan producers, their products, their traditions and their story – including both their past and their future – to ultimately promote and protect sustainable wine production methods.”
The company also explained:
“Wine is made to be drunk and celebrated and The Vino Beano is the new ‘go to’ merchant for wine enthusiasts looking to purchase high quality, affordable, lovingly produced and carefully selected wines. We want our customers and Club members to buy with confidence into our culture of supporting independent artisan producers and experience the real story of how these growers produce the wines as well as enjoy drinking them.”
The Vino Beano also noted it offers customers with wine education known as “The VB Experience.” This opportunity allows customers to purchase undiscovered wines from around the world, along with providing them with a chance to learn more about the ways that wines are produced and the wine industry in general.
Funds from the campaign will be used for the following:
- Grow its exclusive portfolio of products.
- Increasing infrastructure and therefore reducing man hours.
- Promote its business through social media, PR, and communications.
The Vino Beano’s campaign is set to kick off on the Invesdor platform soon.
