Ten Year Celebration: Rock Band Buckcherry Launches PledgeMusic Campaign to Re-Release “15”

Buckcherry 2

This week, American rock band Buckcherry launched a new PledgeMusic campaign to raise funds so that they may re-release their hit platinum album 15 on its tenth anniversary. The album features some of the band’s biggest hits, including Crazy B*tch and Sorry.

BuckcherryThe group, which consists of current bandmates Josh Todd, Keith Nelson, Stevie D., Xavier Muriel, and Kelly LeMieux, stated:

This year marks the Ten Year Anniversary of our platinum selling album “15”! This record was a very special moment in time for this band and there were so many obstacles that got in the way to get this record. We didn’t have a record deal, we didn’t have any money, we only had each other and the songs. And that’s exactly what we captured.”

Those who back the campaign will receive perks such as 15 on Vinyl ($40), 15 Deluxe Re-Issue on CD With Signed Booklet ($25), Handwritten Lyrics from 15 ($200), 15 2006 Tour T-Shirt ($30), and many more items. The band also announced they are planning to continue the tenth-anniversary celebration by launching a North American tour. Nelson shared:

Buckcherry 315… We named it that because we recorded it in 15 days. I’m proud of every record we’ve done, but 15 is special. We had nothing to lose and the world to gain. We bet on ourselves and won. It was a ‘thank you’ and a ‘f*ck you’ at the same time. And it still is. I can’t wait to perform this record in its entirety for its 10th Anniversary!”
