Brewdog Announces Team Profit Share Initiative & New Employee Benefits As It Preps for U.S. Expansion

BrewDog

On Friday, crowdfunded brewery Brewdog announced its team profit share initiative, The Unicorn Fund. The fund is described as an opportunity to share in the success that Brewdog has worked hard to create. The company stated any crew member who signs up for the fund would receive a share of 10% of profit that it makes.

BrewDogThe Brewdog crew shared:

People who work at our brewery will share in the brewery profits and our bar teams will share the profits of the specific bar they work in, meaning our teams are empowered to act like business owners, and benefit like business owners too.”

With the new fund, the Brewdog’s People Team has also added more staff benefits:

“With enhanced maternity, paternity and adoptive leave we are also offering Childcare Vouchers for crew members who have the next generation of craft beer fans at home. In addition, BrewDog staff can now get discounted membership on gyms, assistance with buying computer equipment and mobile phones and we’re also offering a fantastic Bike Scheme to help out those who would like a healthier, greener way to get to work.”

Meanwhile, Brewdog is launching its U.S. Tap Takeover today. The company shared:

DogBless America BrewDog“US Independence Day. Time for fireworks and beer. We can help with the latter on Saturday July 2nd, at our US Tap Takeover. This is a celebration of all that the mighty U.S of A has done for beer (and not in any way related to Donald Trump)! Our UK bars will be hosting 10 different beers from 10 different breweries over the course of the Independence Day weekend. Get that national anthem memorised and prepare to salute to the founding Father’s of craft beer. Dog Bless America.”

BrewDog is making final preparation for the launch of Equity for Punks USA. The company has filed with the SEC to launch a Reg A+ mini-IPO for their Yankee subsidiary. Mission control for BrewDog US will be based in the heartland of Columbus, Ohio – but operations will not just supply the lower 48. BrewDog sees the extension into the colonies as a chance to expand further into other countries.
