My London Girl Prepares For Expansion; Announces Upcoming Invesdor Campaign

My London Doll 3

My London Girl, a doll brand from London, is seeking to raise a minimum of £62,500 (max £250.000) in its upcoming equity crowdfunding campaign on Invesdor. The company reportedly sells high-quality dolls that are equipt with fashional clothing and accessories.

The doll brand revealed that its key ideas are based on the personal experience and tastes of the owners’ two daughters and their friends as they grew up in northwest London. The actual dolls’ story is:

My London Doll 1“Once upon a time, there were two little sisters who lived in the exciting city of London. They loved wearing fashionable clothes, dressing-up, horse-riding, ballet dancing, climbing trees, cycling, ice-skating, baking cakes, reading books and magazines, and holding tea parties. But, most of all, they loved playing with their beautiful dolls who would join in many of their activities – they would travel in their special carriers with the girls on holiday, and would sit in their pushchairs on shopping trips or in their very own bicycle seats for a ride in the park (with helmets of course). The dolls never missed a single one of the sisters’ birthday parties, and would always wear their best [pajamas] and eyeshades whenever there was a sleepover with friends.

“The sisters often dreamt about how wonderful it would be if there was a special place in London, where little girls from all over the world could come and choose a doll who looked like them, and could find beautiful matching clothes and accessories for themselves and their new companion.”

My London Doll 2The company noted that in September 2011 the dolls’ trading commenced in store and in December 2011 commenced online. It offers 13 standing dolls (46cm). These include 11 girls and 2 boys along with 4 baby dolls. Each includes different hair, eye colors and skin tons. The London Girl brand also offers matching clothing and accessories for dolls girls aged from 3 months to 16 years old. There is also furniture and other toys for the dolls.

Funds from the campaign will be used for sales channel both in UK and abroad. It will also go towards strengthening marketing and support product development.

The company will offer up 6.85 – 22.73 % equity and the campaign will open up soon.
