Philip Walker has decided to head to the UK after ten years guiding San Francisco tech start ups to join Crowdfunder as its new CFO. Tapped by Software Cornwall, a non-profit company that aims to develop the digital technology community in Cornwall, Crowdfunder UK Director Phil Geraghty commented on the synchronicity,
“Philip is a great fit for Crowdfunder. We are growing significantly and his experience with high growth tech start ups and a deep knowledge of finance and general operations in the sector will further support that growth. We knew joining Software Cornwall would amplify our recruiting message, but the way they helped in Philip’s transition far exceeded our expectations. It’s great to see our community attracting such talented people from all over the world.”
Walker’s name may ring familiar from his involvement with Rocket Lawyer, UniversityNow and PIX System.
