Live Campaigns from Crowdcube Spain: De Bien, Eurakos, Abouit, BKIE & PymeLegal

crowdcube spainEarlier this month Crowdcube Spain joined the Spanish Association of Fintech and Insurtech (Asociación Española de Fintech e Insurtech) and received the new quality certification from the Catalan Government.  The Association was created with the support of more than 50 companies, with the goal of creating a favorable environment for the development of startups and companies that operate within the sphere of fintech and insurtech.

de bienCofounded by Pepe Borrell and Oriol Cordón, 2016 is off to an exciting start for Crowdcube Spain.  Live campaigns on the Barcelona-based platform include food brand De Bien, Social Currencies Management, Abouit, BKIE and PymeLegal.  De Bien brand products are 100% made in Spain; 10% of sales are donated to food banks. De Bien products can currently be found on the shelves of Carrefour and El Corte Ingles group outlets, with projections that by 2018 products will be available in 2000 outlets. The campaign has raised over €121,945 toward its €225,000 target with the confidence of over 30 investors. Four days remain on the raise.

The University of Girona spinoff Social Currencies Management (SCM) dedicated to the development and management of virtual currencies has two lines of business, the RES currency  (on the market since 1996 and has more than 5,000 companies and 60 million transactions per year), and Eurakos, an app that using virtual currency gives more money to consumers through free negotiation. Swiftly overfunding its € 65K goal, seventeen days remain on the Eurakos’s campaign. 

abouitOver 29 investors have funded Abouit, a platform that enables consumers  find, compare and buy products from ethical consumption for workers, consumers healthy and environmentally friendly.  To date the campaign has raised over € 189,190 toward its €320K target with sixteen days remaining on the campaign.

Launched in 2015, BKIE targets the cycling community with an app that has seen more than 250,000 downloads, 125,000 registered users and more than 1 million euros in transactions, exceeding €300,000 in December alone. The startup’s Crowdcube campaign seeks to hit €150,000 within the next 40 days.

pymelegalPymeLegal is the youngest campaign of the group, having recently gone live to raise €100,000.  The platform links with SMEs, freelancers and owners to adapt to the LOPD (Data Protection Act) to offer more agile, economic and legal guarantees with business B2C (profitability) and B2B (scalability). More detailed campaign details may be found here.
