This week, Real Business released its annual Eveline Future 50 list, which is a handpicked selection of the 50 most disruptive businesses in Britain.
Among those on the list were three companies that have either funded or still funding on equity crowdfunding platform, Seedrs. Here are the three companies and their descriptions below:
- Rare Pink: Rare Pink combines low prices online with a personalised service that can be experienced in store or workplace visits. The company successfully secured £344,000 from 160 investors.
- Shavekit: Online subscription service Shavekit shaves men who hate shopping from the need for high street visits to purchase their beauty essentials. The company has over 3,000 active users, and thousands of new customers latching onto the concept each month. Shavekit received £204,000 invested from 233 investors during its recent round on Seedrs.
- We Are Colony: We Are Colony is described as a new film streaming platform connecting content owners to passionate fans. It distributes “special edition” bundles with exclusive extra content like deleted scenes, making-of documentaries, stills, scripts. The company is currently funding on Seedrs and has successfully secured 359,815 out of £500,00 goal from nearly 100 investors.
Eveline Future 50 also listed HonestBrew, which captured £401,220 from 426 investors through Crowdcube late last year. The company provides a unique experience that matches beers to each customer’s individual taste and delivers a wide range of samples directly to their door.
