Good Luck Chuck LLC, a Boulder-based sunflower seed butter company, announce this week that it has initiated its first round of funding through crowdfunding platform, CircleUp.
The brand stated:
“Good Luck Chuck seeks to gain a national acceptance by appealing to groups that are typically ignored by natural foods brands. By speaking directly to a youthful demographic within urban environments, Good Luck Chuck will establish legitimate credibility and a devoted following.”
Good Luck Chuck’s signature butter is the following:
- Original Sunflower Seed Butter
- Chocolate Sunflower Seed Butter
- Spicy Sriracha Sunflower Seed Butter
Founder of Good Luck Chuck, Aaron Ekalo, shared:
“Since the idea of Good Luck Chuck surfaced just over 2 years ago, we’ve spoken on and off to a good handful of fundraising platforms. However, the more we learned about CircleUp and their passion for good foods and the better-for-you space in general, the more we became maniacally focused on leveraging its platform.”
According to Lincoln International, a global leader in M&A execution, plant based protein and better-for-you brands are emerging trends to watch. This statement rings true, as Good Luck Chuck has only spent 5 months on shelves yet is currently experiencing a sell-through rate of 2.3x the sunflower seed butter space leader (source Nielsen).
