Thornbury’s 3 Ravens Launches Pozible Initiative to Create Brewery & Bar Co-Working Space “CoBrew”

3 Ravens, a brewery located in Thornsbury, Australia, has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Pozible to raise funds for its new brewery & bar co-working space concept called CoBrew.

The company shared:

3 Ravens 4“Above one of Melbourne’s favourite craft breweries, 3 Ravens, lies a jewel that is in its transformation stages of becoming a creative co-working spacecraft. A place for locals to think differently, create differently and work differently.
“After many years, the team out at the 3 Ravens have become a little lonely and are looking to build a local community, sharing their space with other creative minded individuals, entrepreneurs and small businesses that have an affinity with all that is crafted. Jump aboard their spacecraft and become a founding member of the first ever brewery + bar co-working space.”

CoBrew Packages are the following:

  • Spot Desk: Access Monday to Friday 9am-6pm; Week by week membership; Choose from a number of spot desks and communal spaces.
  • Private Desk: Available 24/7; Large permanent/private desk; month-to-month membership with key card access; secured with storage.
  • Studios/Offices: Private team room; Minimum 3 month membership with key card access; Secured with storage.

3 Ravens then explained:

3 Ravens 3“We’re still in the transformation stages but when the space is complete its going to be a light, fun and inspiring space to work from. There will be a large communal area with 30+ private desks, communal desks and craft tables, along with relaxing chill-out areas with many plants to bring us life and clean air. There are small and large studios spaces, dynamic private meeting rooms and a large boardroom for you to talk privately with clients as well as the brewery bar where you can wind down or entertain guests.”

There will be networking events, workshops and classes aimed toward personal development and business growth. CoBrew members will also have the opportunity to showcase their own works in the space as well as on market days throughout the year.

During a recent interview with the Herald Sun, CoBrew’s founder, Nathan Liascos, stated:

3 Ravens 1“We’re looking to essentially try and attract, within the Darebin area, the creative that work from home. Freelancers, bloggers, students that work from home, local designs, entrepreneurs and small start-ups… us being a local small business, we started from very small times. This is a very good opportunity to use upstairs as a creative incubator.”

Liascos  noted that the new space will provide an enjoy atmosphere for like-minded creatives to work:

3 Ravens 2“We’re living proof of a successful small local business that turns a dream into a reality. We get the real needs of creatives because we’re just like them, crafters. It’s this experience that we want to share with others.”

He also added that he hopes to have CoBrew up-and-running in September:

“We’re not just asking for your help, we want you to join our community, be with us from the start and help create something we can all be proud of.”

The campaign is set to close in September.
