Today at the Facebook HQ The Big App Fund, sponsored by Worth Capital, will select the three (or more) finalists in the search for the next big thing in Apps.

The winner is expected to receive a minimum of £150,000 with the two runners up receiving a respectable £100,000. The Big App Fund is running a crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs that stands at £363,000 today. The funds will be invested in the three selected businesses.
The finalists were announced earlier this month and results are expected soon.
The competition hopes to discover Europe’s best App Entrepreneurs and has benefited from the support of Facebook.
