Line-Up Passes 85% Mark on Seedrs: Powering Global Event Discovery

Line-Up has successfully funded over 85% of its Seedrs’ crowdfunding campaign. With the confidence of over 130 lineupinvestors, the startup’s crowdfunding campaign has generated over £170K in funding for 9.09% equity offered.

The startup offers an app that powers event discovery globally by developing its proprietary technology to collect event information automatically and at a fraction of competitor’s costs. For example, according to Line-Up, “This content powers the Line-Up mobile app and the ‘what’s on’ sections of over 60 household titles such as: Magic FM, London24, Manchester Evening News, Irish Mirror and Daily Record which are owned by some of the world’s biggest media brands including Trinity Mirror, Bauer Media, Archant and dmg media.”

Prior to launching the Seedrs’ funding round, the team led by CEO Barnaby Clark and CTO Sanjeevan Ambalavanar won Seedcamp London.  Line-up also announced that November “will see Line-Up roll out across new titles in the Archant South West portfolio.”  Line-Up’s crowdfunding round ends in 26 days.
