Chicago Startup Launches New Indiegogo Campaign For iPhone 6 Waterproof Cases

TAKTIK 360 + AQUATIK

LunatikChicago-based tech startup and creators of the Kickstarter-success TAKTIK, LUNATIK has launched a $100,000 crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo for its new iPhone 6 waterproof cases TAKTIK 360 + AQUATIK. Within the first few hours, the project raised over $31,000 thanks to nearly 375 backers.

LUNATIK has designed an airtight, compression closure system for both TAKTIK 360 + AQUATIK cases, which protects from water and dust to an IEC rating of IP68. This means that the iPhone will stay safe and dry for up to one-hour in water as deep as two meters.

Some of the features included with the TAKTIK 360 case are:

  • Volume adjustment keys with optimized tactility
  • Optical clear photo lens
  • Non-slip perimeter impact bumper
  • Simple secure latch closure
  • High impact ballistic bezels

Noting its past successes, LUNATIK stated, “In 2012, we raised the bar for device protection with TAKTIK Extreme. We believe that consumers aspired to better quality accessories for their valuable devices than what currently existed on the market, and we were right.”
