Looking for a new way to buy a luxury watch without the high end costs? Leonard & Church are ready to bring fancy timepieces to consumers for half the price of any retail stores. The company decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise $75,000.

Leonard & Church 4Several friends, sharing the same interest in offering well crafted, handmade luxury watches at, founded Leonard & Church in New York City. The company rejects the current state of the luxury watch industry that have distributors, wholesalers, brokers and retailers who work together to mark up watches up to 1000%, severely inflating the cost of a quality timepiece.

Sharing more details about their mission, the Leonard & Church team wrote, “We started Leonard & Church to create a new model – to make luxury watches accessible. Our name pays homage to a neighborhood and a city that brought us together.”

The company partners directly with several of the world’s leading luxury timepiece manufacturers, who for decades have hand-produced watches that retail around the world for over $800. “With these manufacturing partnerships and our direct-to-consumer approach, we skip the industry’s middle men and retail markups and pass these savings to you.”
